About the Item
A matching pair of very large handcrafted solid English oak nightstands or end tables - with a a sizeable drawer and bold exposed construction dovetail jointing. Designed and completely handmade in England using traditional furniture making techniques. A weighty, minimalist multi-function piece of furniture - transformed with the use of the most beautiful English fully quarter-sawn oak and bold hand-cut twin dovetail jointing. The internal drawer parts and construction are traditionally dovetailed and made with the same select English oak.
Finished in highly durable eco oils.
A design drawing influences from early Japanese minimalism and European modernism.
These are unique pieces of substantial furniture and are intended for use as you see fit.
Completely handmade in England, built to last.
Dimensions can be customised to requirements - within practical parameters.
Also available in American Black Walnut or white English Ash.

These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use.
Our regular use of English Quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
