About the Item
This elegant pair of Louis XVI style bedside tables was crafted in the late 20th century, circa 1980, and showcases refined neoclassical French design interpreted with excellent modern craftsmanship. Each table is constructed of solid walnut and features a clean rectangular case with subtly molded edges, fluted corner details, and slender tapered legs terminating in brass sabots, all hallmarks of the Louis XVI aesthetic.
Both nightstands are fitted with two smoothly operating drawers, each accented with simple brass knobs. The drawers are finely constructed with visible dovetail joinery, and the interiors are finished in natural wood, reflecting quality workmanship throughout. The warm and rich walnut patina enhances the crisp lines and elegant proportions, allowing the pair to integrate seamlessly into both traditional and transitional interiors.
