This elegant pair of Louis XV style bedside tables, dating to the early 20th century (circa 1920), beautifully embodies the refinement of French craftsmanship. Each table is finely veneered with richly figured woods arranged in a striking chevron pattern, enhanced with delicate floral marquetry inlays on the drawer fronts. The graceful bombe form is supported on slender cabriole legs, adorned with finely cast gilt-bronze mounts at the corners and feet, providing both protection and decorative detail.
The tops are finished with luxurious ochre-colored marble, showcasing natural veins and movement that complement the warmth of the wood veneer.
