About the Item
Exceptional pair of Spanish Empire Revival nightstands dating from the late 19th century. Each piece features a central stack of four drawers framed by sculptural spiral-turned columns and supported by solid plinth bases. The richly figured wood grain and the bold architectural cornice give the pair a regal presence, reflecting the influence of Spanish Imperial and Isabella II period furniture.
The original brass oval pulls add a refined neoclassical touch, while the warm patina enhances the depth and character of the wood. Although highly decorative, the drawers offer functional storage, making the pair suitable as bedside tables, console tables, or statement pieces in a living room or hallway.
