About the Item

This small chest of drawers or nightstand dates back to around 1790-1800. It comes from Germany. The small chest of drawers stands on four slender pointed legs. It has two drawers and a shelf in the lower part. The special feature of this unique piece is its gorgeous walnut veneer pattern. The striped veneer design gives it a very unique and almost modern touch. All sides, the top and the shelf are embellished with the same veneer decor. It has been expertly refinished.
