About the Item
An Italian tall comodino, with original marble top and gorgeous veneer
inlays, from the 19th century. This antique side chest from Italy features its original marble top with canted front corners, atop a case two drawer case adorn with great inlay and banding details featuring a beautiful chevron style motif. The merlot colored marble top has grey and cream veining. This chest is raised upon slender squared and tapering legs with brass feet. The front legs and side posts are canted, mimicking the design of the marble top. This 19th century Italian comodini is a really nice piece! It would work beautifully as a small entry table, side table, or bedside nightstand.
