Luciano Frigerio, born in Desio in 1928, revolutionized the world of furniture design and production, inheriting the family tradition of fine cabinetmaking. After graduating with a degree in accounting, he developed a passion for furniture design and music composition. In the 1960s, taking advantage of Brianza's entrepreneurial opportunities, he transformed the family business into an international one, collaborating with important figures such as Gio Ponti and Franco Albini. Frigerio realized his dream of creating furniture as one-of-a-kind pieces by introducing "Solid Wood Sculpture Furniture" and "Cast Bronze Sculpture Beds," combining excellent craftsmanship and fine materials. His company produced numbered and signed pieces, collaborating with renowned architects and designers. In the 1970s and 1990s, he opened ten showrooms in Italy. Recognized with various honorary titles, his works are exhibited in art galleries and have won prestigious awards. Permanent exhibitions in Milan testify to his continuing influence in contemporary design, celebrating functionality, aesthetics, and craftsmanship.
