About the Item

Tall and narrow grandfather floor clock in the original yellow and flower decoration, possible Denmark or Scandinavian for sure, circa 1875. Due to the very particular measurements of this clock, this type of clocks are very rare and are referred to as a "Grandchild" or "Grandmother" The clock has been modified within the last 20 years. The clockwork has been replaced with a battery driven engine. Newer shelving has replaced the area where the clockwork hung. Please see detailed pictures of this modification.
