About the Item
A wonderful hand made pinfire pistol by Franz Pfannl, housed in its original Moroccan red leather case with its arsenic velvet interior. The gun would have originally had a small nickel ramrod and some live rounds. The rounds within the case are not for use only display. The gun cocks are fires as you would expect.
Franz was an Austrian watchmaker and manufacturer, most famous for his small pistols, designed in 1910 and produced from 1914 to 1938. The pistol was marketed for self-defense but was fairly poor in its use, due to the low penetration of the round.
The pistol itself is approx 4.5cm in length
The case is 6/4/1.5cm
