About the Item

Indonesian erotic carving of a man holding his oversized erect phallus while seated in a squatting position. The carving is a handle to a iron tool, probably an adze for carving. The serious expression on the mans face is and amusing contrast to his present occupation, his two hands wrapped around his large penis. Circa 1900. These carvings are usually made as kris hilts, this one is unusual in that it was made as a tool, perhaps for a carver of kris hilts for his own use. 9 inches overall with the iron, the figure alone is 4.25 in 1.25 wide 1.25 deep
