This North African sword, known as a "Nimcha," is a remarkable piece originating from Morocco, dating back to the early 19th century. Its slightly curved blade features fullers that broaden towards the tip. The iron hilt comprises a pair of drooping quillons with swollen terminals, an additional down-curved arm, an angular knuckle-guard, and a characteristic horn pistol-shaped grip, resembling the handle of a pistol.
