About the Item

A fine example of a pair of 50 bore over and under percussion pistols by Smith and Alden, listed as London gun makers 1826 to 1835. They trained with the top makers and this shows in the quality and superb engraving and workmanship in these pistols. This superb pair of pistols show little sign of use and are in the most amazing original cased condition. Barrel length 13.5cm. Measurements featured are for the case.
