Revised editions.
A fifteen-volume set comprising the works of George Meredith, a prominent Victorian novelist and poet whose greatest successes include 'Diana of the Crossways' and 'The Egoist', whilst his earliest full-length novel 'The Ordeal of Richard Feverel' briefly scandalised contemporary literary circles.
Uniformly bound in signed half crushed morocco by Sotheran, with cloth boards and marbled endpapers.
With a tissue-guarded frontispiece to each volume.

Condition
Uniformly bound in signed half crushed morocco by Sotheran, with cloth boards and marbled endpapers. Externally, very smart, with really only the odd mark to the boards and spines and a touch of shelf wear. Decorative bookplate of one Hugh Montgomery to the front pastedowns. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright, with spotting to the fore-edge affecting the odd page.
