About the Item
Found in Spain, this set of five large 18th Century Books were crafted from Vellum by spanish artisans in the late 1700's. Each book exhibits a creamy cover and binding from animal skin using a technique which is now nearly forgotten. In this set, each of the books are unique showing years of use, meticulous repairs, some loose binding and natural patina which is common for items of this age. These are not just books but time capsules from a past era. The perfect addition to all interiors, this set of 18th Century Spanish Vellum Books will grace a bookshelf, desk or table.
