The first edition of this incredibly popular science fiction novel, a smart copy in the original second state dust wrapper. The first edition, first impression. Uncommon to see the first U.K. edition. In the original unclipped second state dust wrapper, without the advert to the rear wrap. 'The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy' is one of the most popular modern science fiction novels, the first book in a "trilogy of five books" by Douglas Adams. The novel is named after an electronic guide book which advises Dent on the galaxy and its many variant inhabitants. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper.
