Fabulous first edition "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" hardcover book by Lewis Carroll signed by illustrator, Maggie Taylor, circa 2008. A lavish, surreal, and distinctive interpretation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice illustrated from photographs by Maggie Taylor. Using 19th century photography (daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes), as well as scanned images of insects, dolls, flora, and fauna, and digitally manipulating them to generate wonderfully dream-like imagery, Taylor has created a wondrous vision of Carroll’s masterpiece! 62 full-page color illustrations in 186 pages.
