About the Item
We have two Christies sale catalogues dated from 2008 which feature many important pieces by some of the best known and most sought after designers of the 20th century and Art Deco era. In the May sale there are pieces by Pierre Chareau from the collection of Fernand Simon, two private commissions by Eugene Printz including the collection of Madame S. from Neuilly sur Siene. There are pieces from other collections which feature Lalique, Giacometti, Line Vautrin, Andre Arbus and Jean Dunand.
The November sale included pieces which were from different owners and featured pieces by Jean Dunand, Emile Jacques Ruhlmann, Line Vautrin, Paul dupre-Lafon, a private collection of Francois Pompon pieces, and a single owner sale of Jean Royere.
