About the Item

Small format ring binder catalog showcasing designer/manufacturer Cedric Hartman’s lighting and furniture offerings for the years 1979/80. Known for his meticulous attention to materials and craftsmanship, Hartman became a staple of the interior design and architectural interiors trades and remains so today. Featured in the catalog is his iconic series of adjustable floor, table, and appliqué lamps, composed of stainless steel, chrome, brass, or bronze, along with his AE small tables with brass, bronze, or nickel silver bases and limestone, marble, or granite tops. The page for the model 1 floor lamp notes that it is part of the Museum of Modern Art’s permanent design collection. 8vo (7.5” x 6.5”), quarter cloth boards with printed name on spine. The ring binder contains 17 b/w and two-tone product photographs printed recto only on glossy paper; 12 pages of general information, a 7-page price list dated September 1979; a 1-page price list for bulbs and polish, a 1-page spec sheet for the model 4 wall mount lamp; and a pull-out page showing the various reflector options.
