DESCRIPTION: SIGNED BY ALICE. 1 vol., 7-3/8" x 5-3/8", signed by the original Alice on the half-title "Alice Hargreaves", illustrations by John Tenniel. Bound in the publisher's original gilt stamped red cloth, "Burn" binder ticket to rear pastedown, all edges gilt.
CONDITION: Neat contemporary ownership signature to front endleaf dated Jan. 1883, some offsetting to the frontis and title-page from the tissue guard, otherwise internally clean and bright, spine neatly relined, general handling, overall a VERY GOOD copy.
