This is a beautifully produced book by Franco Maria Ricci, published in 1972 in a limited edition of only 2,000 copies. Hardback binding in the publishers beautiful black silk covers with gilt titles and lettering - in a black clam shell presentation box. Containing 276 printed pages with text in English and 77 stunning tipped in plates by ERTE, 26 Alphabetical plates, 40 designs and a further 9 of numbers plus a colophon and portrait photograph. He was a designer in many fields who enjoyed a career which spanned most of the 20th century - his designs included fashion, jewelry, theatre sets and costumes, graphic arts, sculpture and interior decor.
