This is a three volume set of the famous "Esempi" series by Roberto Aloi which was put together in the 1950's and was a survey of the very best of furniture design of its day. It covers designs from Scandinavia, Italy and the rest of Europe and America and features designers such as Carlo de Carli, Gio Ponti, Pietro Chiesa for Fontana Arte, Guglielmo Ulrich, Paolo Buffa, Jean Michel Frank, Carlo Mollino, Charles Eames, Knoll and Jean Royère.
