About the Item
Loose leaf folio, patterned boards with fabric spine, fabric ties. Thirty eight colour plates (missing 6) on dark grey stock paper depicting wallpaper and fabric designs from Japan reproducing Japanese silk fabrics from the collections of the Museum of Decorative Arts and the Museum of Fabrics of Lyon.
Also included are some loose plates taken from a German book with similar subject matter including Russian.
Dimensions: 11 1/2" x 15 1/2" x 1/2"
Condition: missing pages with plates 8, 9, 11, 23, 36 and plates on page 3, 19 and 38. The loose pages are not bound and taken from a book. The portfolio shows wear and fraying. The pages are not bound.
