European Works of Art from the Private Collection and Gallery of the Blumka Estate. Auction: New York January 9 and 10, 1996. Published by New York, Sotheby's, 1996. 1st Ed hardcover with dust jacket. Blumka Gallery is a fourth generation gallery with Medieval and Renaissance works of art and sculpture. Blumka started the family business in Vienna in the 19th century and moved the gallery to New York in 1939. The diverse range of gallery inventory features Medieval and Renaissance works of art including enamels, bronzes, and stone and wood sculpture.
