This book was published in 1991 to coincide with an exhibition which marked Hubert de Givenchy's 40 years in fashion. It is dividing into three sections; it presents a portrait of Givenchy the couturier and art lover and, at times interior decorator, an analysis of the development of his fashion house and label, and a study of his career and style. Beautifully illustrated throughout in color and black and white, including many photographs of his muse Audrey Hepburn. It ends with a chronological account of his 40 years of creations.
This is the scarce English text version.The book is in very good condition however there are number of closed tears to the dust jacket.
