Each book stamped: "Malcolm Forbes Esqu." see picture attached.
Probably from the estate of the Library of Malcolm Forbes.
Large heavy, the books measure 14 1/2 x 10 1/2 inches x 2 inches.
3 volumes, extensively illustrated throughout.
3 full large volumes of The illustrated London News with leather spine and corner hardcovers.
Bound in half calf, calf corners, cloth boards, gilt title lettering.
Cover poor with some loss but content still well bound together. Interior in nice clean condition with only occasional foxing/ light age staining marks.
Fold-outs still in original fold.
Gilt titling
decoration to spine.
Huge number of superb engravings.
