This is a first edition copy of this book which has been bound in Red Morocco leather with beautiful gold tooling around the edges and to the spine. A breathtaking and informative book, detailing the methods of Italian gardening. Profusely illustrated with photographs, line drawings and splendid colour plates by Maxfield Parrish. There are 52 illustrations, 26 of them by Parrish. A scarce edition in a beautiful binding.
