About the Item
This is a soft covered book in good condition which was edited for exhibitions in 1985 which took place in Paris and New York featuring the complimentary works and designs of these two masters of their trade. Prouvé was an architect, ironmonger and designer who was at the forefront of industrialized design and prefabricated buildings. His furniture often used natural woods and raw steel. Mouille was a silversmith, engraver and sculptor who created a series of lights and light fixtures. Both designers therefore can be seen working with metal, iron and steel and this exhibition is of their perfectly complementary work. Text in English and French. 170 pages. 695 grams.
