About the Item
This is a 2 volume box set of books, the individual titles of which are - La Plante et ses applications ornementales sous la direction by M.E.Grasset and Les Fleurs et leurs applications decoratives by E.A.Seguy. Both volumes are beautifully illustrated and there are over 200 pages in full colour showing ornamental and decorative designs from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods. Taken from original pochoir dating from the 1920's and 1930's by Grasset and Seguy, which are now very scarce indeed in their complete states, this facsimile is a very good reference for designers and decorators. The books are still housed in the original slipcase.
