About the Item
A library of 18 first editions by Gore Vidal, all but one with dust jackets, various publishers and dates, including his first published work, Williwaw. This library includes many of Vidal's lesser known works and plays as well as his bestsellers and covers a period of some 30 years. The author, a liberal spokesperson of the time, was friends with the Kennedy family and a political character in his own right, frequently appearing on television in very lively and often heated discussions with William F.
