DESCRIPTION: SIGNED LIMITED EDITION. 1 vol., 11-3/8" x 9-3/8", limited to 500 numbered and signed copies by the illustrator Arthur Rackham this being copy #227, illustrated with 16 tipped in color plates (titled tissue guards after each plate) and 7 B&W illustrations, bound in full dark blue morocco, gilt lettered and decorated spine, covers double ruled in gilt, title gilt to front cover, front cover with blind tooled multi-color morocco onlays reproducing the illustration facing p.274 depicting Sir Lancelot fighting a Dragon, gilt dentelles, blue silk morie pastedowns and endpapers, top edge gilt, others uncut as issued, by Asprey.
CONDITION: Internally clean and bright, no previous ownership ,markings or bookplate, hinges fine, front cover ever so slight sunned, A WONDERFUL PRESENTATIION IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.
