About the Item
Master Paintings at the Tefaf and Antiques Fair, Maastricht, 18th - 27th March 2011. Master Drawings at the Salon du Dessin, Paris, 30th March - 4th April 2011, by Jean-Luc Baroni. Pair of 1st Ed hardcovers with dust jackets and slip-case. One book is Master Drawings and the other Master Paintings. Jean-Luc Baroni belongs to the third generation of a family of connoisseur art dealers. The family business first opened in Paris in 1919, and moved to Florence in 1967. In 1982, Mr. Baroni went into a 20 years long partnership with the eminent British firm Colnaghi. He has now been working from his gallery in St. James’s, London for over 10 years. The gallery holds regular exhibitions, produces catalogues that are fully researched and illustrated and participates in a number of International Art fairs such as Tefaf - Maastricht, the Salon du Dessin and the Master Drawings Week in London and in New York. These catalogs have 40 works by: Far Bartolomeo, Luca Cambiaso, Marco Da Faenza, Paolo Farinati, Di Nardo, Pacchiarotti, Picasso, Canaletto and Barocci, plus 31 others. All works are illustrated in color.
