Summary of the Law of the Spanish Netherlands Zype, François van den (Franciscus) [c.1578-1650]. Notitia Iuris Belgici. Editio Nova Tertia Parte Auctior. Antwerp: Apud Hieronymum Verdussium, 1665. Gilt spine with raised bands and title piece. Title page printed in red and black. Zype was a canon lawyer and church official attached to the Bishop of Antwerp. First published in 1635, this useful and comprehensive summary of the law of the Spanish Netherlands. Topics include procedure and law concerning commerce, marriage, the military, and other matters.
The book is in good overall condition, with no repairs and no missing leaves.
