A very rare, sought after and important publication illustrated with numerous finely executed anatomical and other engravings, possessing high value on the score of utility as well as of ornament, many of which are executed in colour. Well over five hundred pages, 47 full-page-plates in black and white and colour (all original lithographs and colourful chromolithograph plates) also several illustrations within the text.
