A portfolio of 12 offset-printed heart designs by noted German graphic designer Pierre Mendell (1929-2008) assembled from his work at Mendell
Oberer -- from posters for institutional clients like Unicef and the Bayerische Staatsoper (where he was in-house designer from 1990 on) to wedding announcement for private clients, as well personal expressions in his private life in the form of graphic love letters. Folio. Limited edition published by Edition Galerie Bartsch
Chariau in 1993. Text in German. Signed in pencil on cover. Numbered 39/500 by hand on front flap. Additional warm inscription to colleague and fellow minimalist Massimo Vignelli on first leaf. Light rubbing to portfolio. Contents NF.
