About the Item
For most of the 20th century Primavera were the "atalier", design shop and workshop for Printemps, the large Parisian department store. They were set up initially to design and create entire ensembles and room sets for rich clients, public and private bodies such as embassies, hotels and casinos. They therefore participated and exhibited at many of the large international trade fair in the 1920's and 1930's. In time production developed and they moved into Furniture, fabrics, wallpapers, lighting, rugs, mirrors, and ceramics. This book looks back at the sixty year history of Primavera. 539 pages, profusely illustrated throughout. Text is in French. 2790 grams.
