This beautifully photographed and detailed auction catalogue was made to accompany the sale of Richard Neutra's iconic Modernist house in Palm Springs, California. Commissioned by the businessman Edgar J. Kaufmann Sr., who also commissioned Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Neutra's house defined the recognisable look of the houses in Palm Springs, seen in this catalogue in contemporary photos and many by the famed architectural photographer of the period, Julius Shulman. Softcover with French flaps in publisher's original printed plastic dust jacket, text in English, unpaginated, heavily illustrated in colour and black and white throughout.
