About the Item
First edition of this iconic, definite text on cocktails features highly decorative pictorial endpapers. The book is illustrated throughout in Art Deco manner by Gilbert Rumbold. On the third page there is a handwritten dedication and stamp by Albert E. Drury, a representative of Booth Destillers, the company that sponsored this publication.
Enclosed is a booklet with sixteen pages, "Stowells of Chelsea. Cocktails and Cups. Facts about Wine. Stowells Catering Service."
The binding is slightly rubbed, both ends of the spine are slightly damaged.
The interior is in fine condition.
