Signed first edition hardcover with dust jacket. 190 pp. A beautiful fashion retrospective of the highly successful career of designer Arnold Scaasi with a look at the private, social and theatrical worlds of New York, Palm Beach and Hollywood. His rise from an apprentice to the world's top couturier to a world respected designer. Some of his clients were; Jacqueline Kennedy, Elizabeth Taylor, Mary Tyler Moore, Joan Crawford and Barbara Streisand. The book is illustrated with 200 photographs showing his timeless designs defined by a genius of mixing colors, draping and superb shapes.
