A large and comprehensive book about this group which was founded in 1929 and was active for about thirty years, it consisted of a group of decorative artists and designers. Many of the great designers became members - such as, Pierre Chareau, Rene Herbst, Eileen Gray, Rob Mallet-Stevens, Charlotte Perriand Jean Prouve, Jean Puiforcat, Raymond Templier and Jean Fouquet. Broken down into chapters which includes - Architecture, Interiors, Furniture, Porcelain and Glass, Graphics and Sculpture. 575 pages with text in French and profusely illustrated with black and white illustrations and some color plates.
