Wonders of the Stereoscope, by John Jones. Afred A. Knopf, New York, 1976. 1st Edition hardcover with original slip-case containing two Volumes with Stereoscopic Viewer and 48 Stereo Cards. Volume 1 surveys the history of the stereoscope and the stereograph and details the "enormous range" of subjects captured in stereographs. Viewing stereographs through the stereoscope allows you to see the picture in three dimensions. Volume 2 contains a stereoscope and 48 stereographs, or stereo-cards. All the cards are numbered and described in volume 1.
