About the Item
This antique ladies 'Peek-a-Boo' wristwatch was made by the well known Geneva Watch Company of Switzerland and dates to approximately 1920. This elaborate and ornate watch case is composed of 14 karat yellow gold and is decorated with two diamonds and an opal cabachon. The watch features a hinged lid to the watch face, or Peek-a-Boo feature. The band is also composed of 14 karat yellow gold with a multiple rope style and push button clasp and safety chain. The watch is in good working order and the hinge mechanism functions firmly and as intended.
