A fine quality antique stick pin featuring a dramatic classical mask or grotesque head finely cast in 20ct gold, mounted on a hand-twisted 14ct gold pin. The head is characterful and expressive, with a strong open-mouthed design, stylised hair and pierced features — likely representing a wind god, theatrical mask, or similar classical subject.
English, dating to the late 19th century. Professionally tested. Unmarked, as typical of the period.
