About the Item

Rare Catherine Noll bracelet. Measurements : 9,5 cm x 9 cm / diagonals 11,5 cm x 11,5 cm / inner diameter 6,3 cm "Granddaughter of sculptor Alexandre Noll, Catherine Noll loved shaping wood, but also combining it with resin or plexiglass to create her jewelry in the 1970s and 1980s. Graduating from the École nationale des arts décoratifs in 1970, she began creating jewelry and collaborated with the greatest Haute Couture houses, Nina Ricci, Chanel, and Christian Dior. Her creations have the strength of ethnic finery, the purity of essential forms, and the tactile magnetism of natural materials such as ivory, ebony, and rosewood."
