About the Item

Limited Edition Faberge Egg by Victor Mayer – Number. 3 of 25 A magnificent and highly exclusive Faberge collector’s egg, crafted by the esteemed workmaster Victor Mayer. This exceptional objet d’art is part of a strictly limited edition of only 25 pieces produced worldwide — this being number 3, as engraved to the base. Expertly fashioned from 18kt yellow gold, the egg rests atop a finely carved malachite base supported by ornate serpent-style gold feet and twisted post detailing with fine gold chainwork. The body of the egg is decorated in rich honey-toned guilloche enamel, showcasing the meticulous craftsmanship Faberge is known for. At the centre, a delicately carved nephrite elephant stands in regal posture, adorned with an enamelled saddle set with white diamonds and ruby cabochon eyes. Above it, a beautifully detailed parasol canopy is suspended, decorated in cloisonne-style enamel and further embellished with diamonds. The curved supporting armature is pave-set with diamonds, enhancing the overall opulence of the piece. This unique creation is marked "FABERGE 3 of 25" and hallmarked for 18kt gold. It is accompanied by its original Faberge presentation case lined in blue velvet, along with the official Faberge seal tag. Fabergé Meissen Egg, Gold, Enamel, Diamonds, Gemstones, Porcelain, Music Box
By Fabergé
Located in Pforzheim, DE
This Fabergé egg commemorates Carl-Peter Fabergé’s sojourn in Dresden in 1860/61 and the artistic influences he absorbed at the Green Vault. The foot is crafted of hand-painted porcelain by the State Meissen Porcelain Manufactory, designed expressly for this piece. The upper half of the egg in gold and enamel contains a miniature garden with a diamond-set well house and trees of nephrite and pearls. A dedicated Swiss music box movement by Reuge plays a minuet by Luigi Boccherini, while the well house and trees move in contrapuntal motion. The transformation of the music box movement into the motion of the well is achieved by a special mechanism with an additional spring, developed by the Swiss master watchmaker Paul Gerber...

Fabergé Style Bejewelled and Enamelled Gold Egg by Asprey
By Garrard Co. Ltd., Asprey International Limited
Located in London, GB
This exceptional, 18 carat gold Easter egg was crafted by the famous London-based royal jewellers, Asprey & Co. The piece was then retailed by Garrard & Co, who once worked in collaboration with Asprey, producing luxury jewellery and silver for an elite clientele. The egg has been crafted from gold filigree — that is, gold wires interwoven to make a delicate lace-like pattern. The gold is arranged to form the image of a peacock, with a magnificent fanned train, composed of red, dark blue and green coloured plique-à-jour enamel. The light blue body of the peacock, and its long swirling light and dark blue tail feathers, have been crafted from intricate guilloché enamel, which is often found on Fabergé style eggs...
