About the Item
A set of 5 marquetry bracelets in precious woods and bone.
Catherine Noll revolutionized the art of jewelry in the early 1970s by combining natural (woods, ivory ...) and synthetic materials, redefining the tribal style that would reign supreme until the 1990s.
Unsigned, as usual, these bracelets are distinguished by both the nobility of the materials used and the great delicacy of the design.
With the exception of a small chip on the inside of one bracelet, therefore not visible when worn, the set is in very good original condition.
Measurements - Inner diam. 6.1 cm / width and section are approximately 1 cm.

Catherine Noll
Catherine Noll was mainly a Parisian jewelry designer who started her illustrious design career back then. Noll was in art school at the famous Beaux-Arts when her noted and famous sculptor grandfather Alexander Noll passed away. Then, she started creating sculptural jewelry from her newly inherited atelier. She did not do many sculptures.
