About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this Antique Oak Restored J. Ashcroft
Co Liverpool Snooker Billiard Score Board.
Presenting a magnificent antique billiard, snooker, and life pool scoreboard by J. ASHCROFT
Co., VICTORIA STREET, LIVERPOOL. This exquisite board features two rolling numbered score registers, easily adjusted by knobs located on the side, along with a central chalkboard and color-coded multi-panel sliding score banks. The base includes beautifully glazed compartments for storing balls.
Crafted from fine oak, this combined scoreboard is designed with lockable glass cupboards to securely hold the balls. The scoreboard has been restored by having it all traditionally french polished.
The billiard scorer features black rollers adorned with gold-painted numbers ranging from 0 to 20, 21 to 40, 41 to 60, 61 to 80, and 81 to 100, along with two slides for tracking your score.
The Life Pool section includes twelve slides equipped with colored discs that represent each player’s cue ball. The available colors are White, Red, Yellow, Green, Brown, Blue, Pink, Black, spot White, spot Red, spot Yellow, and spot Green. Each slide reveals three discs when pulled out—each disc representing one 'life' in the game.
Additionally, there are hidden 'stars' that signify extra lives. Centrally positioned on the scoreboard is a slate for recording scores and other details.
Life Pool can be enjoyed by multiple players who share the pool; each player uses their own color ball while trying to pot opponents’ balls. A player loses a life each time their ball is potted by an opponent and is eliminated from the game when all lives are lost.
This superb scoreboard was crafted by J. ASHCROFT
Co., VICTORIA STREET in Liverpool and reflects outstanding quality.
All the balls shown in the pictures are included in this sale; however it does not include number 13.
Please carefully examine the pictures to see the condition before purchasing, as they form part of the description. If you have any questions, please message us.
