Opening the case you’ll find a treasure of a 100% high quality crystal worked by Orfeo Quagliata’s artisans.
Orfeo takes his most interesting glass techniques to apply them to the game pieces. The "Barcodes" technique is a fine linear design with schemes of different colors that contrast between lines. Thin strips of different colored glass are placed next to each other and then fused into a single piece, from which rectangular pieces are cut and hand polished to result in a smooth finish of great ergonomic feel.
This dance of color and transparencies adds a unique visual value to the Domino, not only a simple game or object, but a fully functional artistic piece rich in materials and textures.
