A truly stunning set, this was purchased in 2009 along with a very special 1850 Staunton Edition chess set (which is listed under my other items) from Jacques London
This set has never been used, its never been removed from the plastic film wrapping as you can see, it comes with an additional book and the original playing instructions, the case is sublime quality, there is a solid brass engraved plaque, a large leather label hand stunned in place with Jacques stamped studs, this piece genuinely was the finest example that you could purchase at the time
