Hand painted Japanese numbers.
An abacus is a calculating instrument that uses beads that slide along a series of rods set in a frame to represent the decimal places. It is the ancestor of the modern digital calculator.
Thirteen beads across the top, fifty-two beads below.
Looks great on a desk or standing on a bookshelf in a home library.
