Antique Wood Brass Pill Roller from a Pharmacy Apothecary This is an antique apothecary pill rolling machine, a brass chemist's countertop instrument, dating from the 19th century A fascinating example of an apothecary roller, with a desirable display appeal The Pill roller has an aged patina and in good original order it has a sloping base with a brass rolling platform, with the corresponding groove set in the handle Arranged for 24 individual pills per batch, the chemist would roll the mixture and form them within the grooves When assembled it is 3” high, 13” wide and 17” long MS235
